Due to some changes in the Jaycee Santa program this
year we will not be delivering toys to homes as in years past, but we still need your help! Please join us and
the Salvation Army if you can on Dec. 19th or 20th between 9 am and 6 pm to help families collect their toys. This will
be taking place AT the Salvation Army on West Central Park. When you show up please let them know you are there to help
and someone will direct you.
Dear Friend,
The Davenport Jaycees would like
to invite you to partake in one of the most exciting and longstanding programs for the needy children of the Quad-Cities this
Christmas season. In coordination with the Salvation Army, the Davenport Jaycees have begun planning this year's Jaycees
Santa program. We will be purchasing, wrapping and delivering new toys for 500 children in the Quad-Cities with the
help of many area businesses and patrons such as you. In the past we have been able to accommodate children under the
age of 13. This year we would like to include all children in the homes up to age 18. This calls for extra money,
SO WE NEED YOUR HELP! This will only be possible through the generosity of
people like you.
The goal of the Jaycee Santa program is to spread
the joys of Christmas to as many underprivileged children as possible.
With your donation, you will be giving these special children a chance to feel the true meaning of Christmas. Currently,
we are asking for tax-deductible contributions that will support our successful program for the 69th year!
Thank you for your generous support! Please make checks payable to Davenport
Jaycee Santa. Any amount will be welcomed. They can be mailed to us at PO Box 3505, Davenport,
Iowa 52803
Seasons Greetings,
The Davenport Jaycees Project Chair Jennifer

The Davenport Jaycees had a float in the 2006 Festival of Trees Parade to promote the Jaycees Santa
Project and our upcoming 75th Anniversary. Check out the pics below!

A very special "thank you" to those Jaycees and friends who came out and helped as at the parade:
Chris & Kristen Mandle, Mark Mandle, Gene & Beth Slesicki, P.J. Foley, and Marvin, Erika, and Kodi Platt. A
special thanks to the Platts for bringing their sweet ride, so we could have a vehicle in the float!
